HTMMMS- you will never know what these initials stand for, muahha

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want - good or bad. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

adventures in the life of sarah e. deal

Following a very weird and frustrating day of practicum(lets just say it involved scientology..and leave it at that!) I had another memorable adventure friday. I drove to Arcadia and picked up Laura T., and we went to the SExional(a.k.a. Bryn Mawr Suite 803) for some Tank Tops and Temporary Tattos II action! So many awesome people were there: Laura, Paul, George, Ginene, Joe, Rob, John, Warren, Heather, Colleen, George Giles, Mike Muller, Ryan Carey,Jack, Kim, and about 70 something people I didn't know. Highlights of the night:
-Laura and I had matching neck tattoos
-all 5 men of noringo under one roof! hotness!
-triple kiss action
-balcony bonding
-drinking 4 cups of coffee at Michaels diner at 3am and having my lips vibrate following that

yep. i know, how awesome is this? also, note how awesome john's 40 in the paper bag is...classic.

it says "BoneBasket" on George's arm, because apparently that is his new band's name. I wrote it.

yeah, i would just like to say that i love my life...

gaaaaaahhhh

so, thankfully, my car only cost me $64. apparently, my brakes did not need work, they just needed fluid. *shrug* wouldn't he have realized that when he inspected in in september? who knows. plan for today includes practicum and a temporary tattoo and tank top party at the sexional. i'm in such a weird discontented state right now. i don't know what that means. i had an interesting dream last night...when don't I?

"those are the kind that eat kids"

I just got back from a rousing past 24 hours. Yesterday night, I drove to Temple University and spent the night watching Law & Order reruns, sippin coke zero, and playing "draw a picture and let sarah deal analyze it" with Kayla, Doc, Kevin, and Ryan. The pictures were extremely interesting, and the best analysis of me came from Doc and Ryan(who had both just drank 40s) "Sarah is a happy narwhal who loves to cup the ballsack and Jesus"(note-my picture was of a heart, a star, a hand, and a narwhal). After that, the fire alarm went off...and Kayla's neighbors had an awful drunken sweet caroline singalong. (they really should have been shot, both for noise and for being terrible). Finally got to sleep after that...Today the plan was to set out for breakfast & the aquarium, with Ryan as driver. Well, his battery was dead..but Doc jumped it. We made it to the Penrose diner(which ruled) but then the battery died again...nice people helped us. Then we went to the aquarium! It was so much fun. The best were the sharks, seals, giant tank with giant stingays, sea horses, and penguins. We saw hippos, but they were sort of boring. The person-dressed-in-a-giant hippo suit named "Bert" tried to molest Kayla..The battery died AGAIN, and we finally found someone to help us.Poor Ryan. Now I am home and further procrastinating foing a project. I'm starving and there's nothing to eat, my mom is actually going grocery shopping and picking up a pizza, but who knows when she'll be home. All I know is, this week will be a little brighter thanks to a new reason I have to enjoy being at La Salle University(god knows these days those reasons are far and between).

Hi Burger King, you suck

Today, i attended a smoking cessation training for practicum which was consequently boring. but otherwise, on with the story. we had to provide lunch for ourselves, and since i'm absent minded, disorganized and lazy, I didn't pack anything. my options for lunch were to order from some random pizza shop, go to a diner, or go to Burger King. Since I was alone, and didn't know if I'd like the pizza stuff, I opted for BK. Mistake...it took me 15 minutes to get there due to traffic(it's not even a mile up the road, mind you) and i waited 10 minutes in the drive thru line. all i wanted was a simple whopper jr with ONLY ketchup, lettuce, tomato, and pickles. That is ALL I wanted on my sandwich. that and a diet coke. i finally get my food, and drive back to the training center. i unwrap my hamburger, and what do I find? my burger contained MAYO and ONIONS, and NONE of the ingredients I asked for. WTF? Screw you Burger king, we're not friends anymore.
P.s. My intestines hate you, too

people creep me out

i'm at work right now..i got here very late because i had another flat tire! thankfully, it happened while i was at home so I didn't have to call AAA or anything like that. and it only cost 10 something to fix. Bob removed some sort of weird exotic nail from it and repaired it.I can't wait til this day is over. Of course then I need to do all my homework for next week since I'll probably be in the city saturday and sunday. we'll see. la salle students are creepy, just a note.

~went to wilkes barre to tara's 80s party! we had massive nonstop dance parties, cupcakes, and debauchery..and i drank jewish wine

Now, it's halloween,I'm a witch, and I have my period..you know what that means

I eat all the trick or' treaters.

now you're all gone got your makeup on and you're not coming back

I went to see Broken Social Scene last night at the TLA with Crystal.
It was amazing.
Seriously, the best show I've seen since I was the Raveonettes in June.
The band was so, so good. To be honest, I've only been listening to them for a month after a suggestion from a friend I check them out. I totally loved them, but now I am enthralled with them.
They played for 2 hours!
There's like 7 people or something in the band...and they had some random Philadelphia girl playing with them last night! It was so cool.(if you don't know them, I suggest getting to know them..get some songs!)
Anyway, driving in the rain sucked ass, and I was scared of parallel parking, but Crystal helped me and I got a spot on 10th st.
We went to Wawa on the way home and I got my love, macaroni & cheese.
I was feeling a little bummed about a silly situation, but the live music cured that ail. Good shows make for good feelings.
Tomorrow night I'm going to see Hanson with Stef, for the 3rd time. Last time was at the Electric Factory, the drummer totally climbed the balcony and "grabbed" our hands. It was the only time a famous musician has touched me, haha. We're going tot he Croc Rock to see them tomorrow. Although I kinda hate the Croc Rock, I hope it's fun. I hope they play the songs that I really like(which they will, because the songs that I really like are songs everyone loves, haha.)
Yeah, Yay for music!

the weekend

The past 4 days have been busy, with mostly good stuff going on.
Wednesday-saw a show at TLA, as per previous entry explains.
Thursday- after going in to see a client, i went to a kareoke bar with my classmates. i participated in singing "what a man,"(salt n pepa) "love fool,(cardigans)" "pour some sugar on me,(def leppaerd)" "that's what friends are for,"( forget) "I'm the one who wants to be with you"(mr. big)..it was interesting and nuts.
Friday- After almost sleeping through practicum, I went in and had a pretty fantastic time, mainly related to establishing rapport with a very interesting client. Then I went home and did nothing, which sucked!
Saturday- Tara was in town! We went to Phillipsburg mall. After, I drove(in the crappy rain, gah) to Temple U and hung out with ladies Kayla, Cheryl, and Molly for some girl time.
Today- Went to center city with Kayla, her boyfriend Kevin, Cheryl and her boyfriend Bryan. Hit the Gallery, I got a shirt on sale, a gift for a friend, and almost got my ears pierced(was too pricey).

Rest of the week, tenitively:
Tomorrow-Practicum and then going to see Broken Social Scene at the TLA with my friend Crystal.
Tuesday- a day off..no classes, no work. I am planning on sleeping in and watching TV all day.
Wednesday-going down to la salle for some work action.
Thursday-work action and therapy action and perhaps meeting up with a friend but not staying out too late(learned my lesson last weekend!)
Friday-Practicum and possibly seeing a movie downtown with Temple friends
Saturday- Wilkes Barre to Tara's! Much anticipated 80s fest and time spent with tara, pat, matty z and kaitlin! sooo psyched for this.

(sounds like a damned good week, eh?!)

Halloween is a week from tomorrow...maybe I wll do something mysterious and magical, then again, maybe not.

the hotness

So, yesterday was alright. The mid-term sucked, but I got to attend a fabulous concert!
The international noise conspiracy were AMAZING, as were the bravery of course. The latter played some new songs that were really rad. The first band(I forget their name) sucked though. I really enjoyed myself, but my worries and thoughts were still there and it was hard to ignore them and stay in the moment. I tried though. I think I want to make babies with the singer from the bravery. I got tickets for my friend crystal and I to see broken social scene monday...booyah so excited. That means more Philly action for me(the best kind of action)..ooh so last night when I was driving home at 2am, a dirty, scary looking man approached my car when I was waiting to turn onto Broad St... Luckily, the light changed shortly. Ghetto ish!
quote of the night:
"Yo, the keyboardist looks retarded..seriously, MR"~Joe, totally serious, about the keyboardish from the noise conspiracy

dreams are dreams

Last night, I had a dream that involved a synogogue, fishing in the ghetto with Zak Brown, going to a house of black people with Zak Brown and discussing politics there, then going to India and buying soft pretzels at a vendor with Amy Cunningham and Joe Giorgio, when the vendor yelled at Joe for not heating up the mustard container before he microwaved it. Apparently, people in india microwave their mustard before applying it to pretzels, and apparently, Joe can't follow directions. At least in my dreams.

my weekend is going to suck. I have 2 tests to study for,a take home to finish, and a paper to write. If anyone wants to come bring me cookies and drink a 40 with me in my boring house, feel free.

Thu, Oct. 13th, 2005, 12:55 pm
boredom

emily and i were discussing life, and we decided if we were teammates on an old nickelodian show, it would definitely be wild and crazy kids, since we are so all about the squeezing milk out of a baby bottle on a waterslide philosophy of life. how about you? i miss the following nick shows: guts, wild and crazy kids, hey dude, rocko's modern life, legends of the hidden temple, and the trippy one with kolas, wallabies and penguins. life used to be so great, what happeend!?!
